Albert Lee Trio

Grammy winner, British-Invasion original, and rock music pioneer, Lee was the unofficial third Everly Brother and longtime Eric Clapton bandmate. Albert Lee grew up a fan of pop artists of the day Buddy Holly and Jerry Lee Lewis. He started playing guitar as a teen and dropped out of school to chase his dreams. Over his long, illustrious career at the frontlines of rock-n-roll, he played with many renowned artists and bands, including The Crickets, Emmylou Harris, Eric Clapton and the Everly Brothers. Albert Lee is famous in his own right, known throughout the industry for his exceptional guitar-playing. His performances and overall musical prowess have earned him plenty of awards, including the 2002 and 2009 Grammy awards for Best Country Instrumental Performance. He also won the title of Guitar Player magazine's ""Best Country Guitarist"" five years in a row, and in 2017, he was honored at the UK Americana Awards with the Trailblazer Lifetime Achievement Award.
