Voices in the Heights, the listening room that has featured many of the finest singer songwriters to grace a stage in New York City, returns on October 21 with Scott Cook and Joshua Garcia in concert. Scott Cook was one of the headliners at the Falcon Ridge Folk festival this past summer. He has toured across Canada, the US, Europe, Asia, Australia and elsewhere for over a decade, and released seven albums of straight-talking folk and roots along the way. Joshua Garcia took the New York City music scene by storm and ended opening for Don McLean before taking a hiatus from performing to produce his first album. This is a rare live performance that audiences have been eagerly awaiting. In-person and streaming tickets are available at https://voicestickets.square.site/. Tickets are “pay what you will” in advance and $20 at the door. The concert begins promptly at 7:30 at 119 Pierrepont Street in Brooklyn Heights. Indoor masking is recommended.
