FAR-West's ongoing mission (since 2002) is to foster and promote traditional, contemporary and multicultural folk music, dance, storytelling and related performing arts in the North American West.
Our organization, open to artists, presenters and music supporters. welcomes a wide variety of styles, levels and disciplines, encouraging musical and cultural diversity and excellence. We are building a stronger folk community for all ages and we encourage you to join us as we share our performances, educational opportunities and more!
