WRFG is a local, independent radio station in Atlanta, Georgia that hosts an occasional series, Community Sessions, in our conference room at the station. Our room has a capacity of 35-40. These concerts focus on promotion of local singer/songwriters and serve as fundraisers for the station. We work to present a diversity of talent which supports our mission to promote issues and artists who are left behind by mainstream media.
We are signing up on this platform to extend our reach beyond our airwaves and social media channels and let the broader community know about the artists we feature and the station in general.
Darryl has been performing around Atlanta and the country since 1966. Long time Atlantans may remember him from his band the Hahavishnu Orchestra formed in 1975. Darryl is actively performing as a comedian and musician to this day.
Join us for our 10th Community Session, and first one outside of Atlanta. On Sunday, June 29th with The Ain?t Sisters @ Unitarian Universalist Metro Atlanta North in Roswell, GA. Tickets are only $25.
Immerse yourself in the vibrant sounds of Atlanta's music scene at our upcoming Community Sessions singer songwriter event, where Dianne
Durrett, Caroline Aiken, and Liz Melendez will take center stage to celebrate woman power.
